Archaeology is slowly becoming the most entertaining class to attend for a number of reasons: Number One, every single day I get stuck sitting directly in front of iPad girl. She feverishly takes notes on her iPad, but it does not occur to her to turn off the "clicking" sound. So, with every single letter the professor utters I hear unending "clicks" in my ear...talk about distracting. Number Two: I have yet to identify the source, but there is someone in class who every 30 seconds or so, makes a loud sound that sounds like a mix between a dog barking and someone say "eff!" I have learned to tune it out, but others constantly look around the room to figure out who let the sneezing dog in the classroom. Now I realize that this individual is most likely special, shall we say, but its every. 30. Seconds. Thirdly, I personally find it very entertaining that certain people literally sit in their chairs and stare at a blank computer screen, making no effort whatsoever to take notes. Okay, if you're not going to listen and not take notes then at least do something fun. Watch a movie. Go on Facebook. But if you're just going to sit there, why even come? At least I know I won't be the person with the lowest grade on the mid-term...
Good news! I just checked my grades and got a 100% on my first college "paper". I am particularly pleased with myself, because everyone said "don't even try to fight back against professors, you'll get marked down". Well, haters, I wrote my entire essay about why Obama stinks and got an A+! So ha!
Woo...just took a break and watched the final Presidential Debate. Speaking of Obama; ummm you may want to spend the short 1 1/2 hrs you have to convince the world why you should be President doing just that, instead of showing us that you have memorized every quote Romney has ever said. Congrats on that, but you may want to try actually offering up some ideas. In my opinion, Romney won tonight. And did anyone else hear the moderator comment on killing "Obama Bin Laden"?? I laughed pretty hard at that slip-up.
Final thought for today: It rained today. Have you ever tried to BIKE in the RAIN?? Not a pleasant experience, take it from me. Slippery, wet, cold, showing up to class looking like a drowned rat...horrible. One good thing though--I don't know what magical powers the rain brought with it, but today out of the woodwork came a cutie at every corner!! I swear, I've never seen so many hotties with bodies in one day. Don't know where they all came from but I ain't complainin'! I knew I always loved the rain.
