Finals. How I love thee. Its the only time of year when you and your roomate (& a friend who has become our honorary 4th roomate) can stay in your room for 24 hours straight, leaving only for food and the potty. No joke. And it has been like this for 3 days. Needless to say we have gone a little bit insane in the brain...you know, laughing hysterically over something that is definitely not funny, getting hungry at one in the morning, and deliriously kicking balloons around our room until the wee hours of the morning. During my time of hibernation I did think up a genius idea though; I had to take a shower but did not want to waste 20 minutes not studying. So, I double plastic-baggied my notes, propped it up with a shampoo bottle and lathered away! Worked like a charm! Ahh..college.
This weekend hasn't been all work and no play, however. Friday we went to the Cru Christmas Party, ugly sweaters in tow. As you may have seen on Facebook, Paige and I braved the photobooth...and had a little too much fun with it. I lost my voice from catchphrase and am pretty sure I gained 3 pounds in gingersnaps, but it was a fun night!
Guess what? I come home in 3 days! I swear, it feels like SO long since Thanksgiving...but right now, Thursday can not come fast enough! I had 2 out of 3 finals today...back to back...two hours each...writing the whole time...All I can say about them--they're over! :) Its a shame that Art History tests are so hard, otherwise I would be sad about the class ending. But now all I have to say to that class is good riddance! You will not be seeing me again! (Well, hopefully some of the monuments will see me again...I'm still obsessed with Greek Art...and Roman...)
Just one final left, but I must get back to studying. To give you a further glimpse into my weekend, you should know this: I just put my headphones into my nostrils. I thought that it would play the music louder when I breathed. I will leave you with that disgusting image.
Update: I just looked up and found my roommate pacing the length of our room for exercise...oy vey.
